“Change will not come if we wait for some other person, or if we wait for some other time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.” ― Barack Obama―

Social justice is a powerful and important part of our Christian journey, grounded in the teachings of Jesus and the belief that every person has incredible worth. Throughout history, the Church has been a force for justice and compassion, and today, we have a special opportunity to address systemic inequalities and promote a fairer world.

At Cornerstone, we’re inspired by scripture, especially Micah 6:8, which reminds us of what truly matters: “He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.”

This series is all about sparking conversation and action among churches and community members in the Central PA region on important social justice topics. We’d love for you to join us!

Each week will feature a dynamic speaker who will share insights on various social justice issues, all facilitated by two of CBC’s amazing scholars.

We can’t wait to connect with you and explore these powerful topics together!
